This is a little surprising to me. A respectable amount of money has been spent with the explicit purpose of keeping the supply chain alive. It’s not that a line doesn’t need to be drawn somewhere, and it’s not that I didn’t think Obama’s team realized this, I just didn’t expect them to draw the line now. Are they already giving up on a smooth bankruptcy for GM?
FYI: Thursday is the next court day for GM, and the 30th is the big court day (to approve the sale).
