Indian cell provider, Aircel (the same one which provided the cellphone charger in the airport), created this dinghy-billboard. Aircel hoisted the dinghy onto the billboard and wrote “In case of emergency, cut rope.” On July 15th, the monsoon flooded the area, stranding pedestrians, so, they cut the rope and used the dinghy to get out of there. The antics and rescuing lead to tons of media attention for Aircel, even including the headline, “Aircel did what [government agency] BMC did not.” (via)
