GDP Report Next Week
The first GDP report for Q3 comes out next Thursday. I already promised that I would look to see if the financial sector grew faster than the rest of the economy. According to the last revision (Sept. 30) to the Q2 GDP report, it did (it grew in both absolute and relative terms), though it was down from the prior year. Some people aren’t too happy about that. I’m also going to highlight the contribution from the auto industry.
Is there anything else that anyone wants me to look for in next week’s report?
