US Debt Maturity Profile, AKA, When do we pay for this?
I must say that it would be hard to improve on this (contrast with August, which didn’t look so good year-over-year). Sure, I wish some of that 3 year debt could have been pushed out to the 7 year, but the Fed has done a pretty decent job of rolling over our debt and pushing new debt out so that we don’t get completely crushed next year. Keep in mind that we’d already been issuing some pretty heavy short term debt by end of October last year.
