Crazy Nut Job
Are there any CFAs on tumblr who can provide a better answer to dailyrenegade?

From your reply, I’ll extend my advice: focus on the math. At similar exams, the people who did well were the people who had the math down. The people who struggled were the people who weren’t confident in their math skills. This is a universal truth in broker exams, accounting exams, etc. Most of the non-math questions (aside from ethics) will become more obvious from the applied math, provided you also know the terminology. Unless you learn otherwise, assume it will not be different for the CFA exams.

Also, see what you can get for a practice exam. Make sure you aren’t surprised by the types of questions they ask.

Finally, good luck.

  1. dailyrenegade said: This was really helpful, math, terms and ethics sounds like a solid place to start, I may ask more specific questions and like I said I am getting help from someone who has done this before.
