
Yeah, yeah. I did have to pass the quiz. I even read through all of the material (adult, child, and infant). It’s been about 15 years since my last certification, so I felt like I really should do that anyway. The course material didn’t explain what an AED was. It didn’t provide a diagram to show where the carotid or brachial arteries were (it did describe them with enough accuracy for anyone moderately literate). Since I didn’t have to physically demonstrate the skills, you have no idea if I actually could perform the required actions. But I’m certified!
Also, it was 8:01 when I paid and 8:30 when I passed the exam, so I wasn’t resorting to hyperbole.
